Hi everyone,

Apologies for the delay in posting this update—I'm a couple of days behind schedule, and I appreciate those of you who reached out to check in.

Progress continues on the outer box packaging. We’re still working closely with our new manufacturer to finalize the dimensions and construction. Each prototype iteration takes time to produce, and shipping samples internationally has proven to be a slow process, but we’re moving forward with steady, if incremental, progress.

Hi everyone,

Just a quick check-in to keep you in the loop on progress.

We’re continuing to make small steps forward—there’s been some ongoing back-and-forth with the manufacturer of the outer box as we refine final details. It’s slow, but we’re moving in the right direction.

We’re also still waiting on delivery of the playing cards from the US Playing Card Company, which should be arriving soon.

A few backers have asked why I'm not going to ship out partial rewards earlier (i.e., orders that don’t include the box set). The reason is that splitting fulfillment into phases would significantly increase our shipping and handling costs. Our fulfillment partner is set up to process everything in a single batch, which helps keep things streamlined and cost-effective. That’s why we’ll be shipping all rewards during the same window, once everything is in hand.

A Long Overdue Check-In

Hi everyone,

I owe you all a long overdue update, and a sincere thank you for your patience. I know the lack of recent communication has been frustrating, especially as the original April delivery date has come and gone. That silence isn’t reflective of how much I care about this project, or how committed I am to delivering something worthy of your support.

Here’s where things stand now, and what you can expect moving forward:

✅ What’s Done and In-Hand

Tuckboxes for the playing cards are completed and waiting at our warehouse.

All bonus items (including the jumbo deck, collectible coin, enamel pin, and bookmark) are also completed and in storage, ready for final packaging.

A new manufacturer for the outer box has been secured after issues with our original vendor. This new partner is more reliable and responsive, but switching did add to the timeline.

🛠️ In Progress

The playing cards themselves are currently being finalized at the US Playing Card Company and are expected to arrive within the next few weeks.

The outer box packaging is still in the prototyping phase. This has taken much longer than expected due to the complexity of the box, the need for precision in fit and protection, and the back-and-forth nature of international shipping and communication. We're working through final adjustments to ensure it meets the quality bar you and this project deserve.

🎯 What’s Next

Once the outer box dimensions are locked and approved, we’ll move into final production and assembly. My current goal is to have all rewards shipped out before the winter holidays. I’ll share more specific timing in upcoming updates as things are finalized.

📅 Ongoing Updates

Starting Friday, August 15, I’ll be posting biweekly updates (every other Friday) to keep you in the loop, whether there’s a major milestone or just a quick status check. No more radio silence.

I want you to know this project hasn’t been forgotten or pushed aside. It’s remained a top priority amidst a lot of moving parts, and I’m committed to finishing strong and delivering something truly special.

No worries - still progressing

Hey everyone,

I apologize for the lack of updates! Life and work has gotten extremely busy for me again but I wanted to share with you that everything is still moving forward and have a couple quick notes…

1. Most of the items are completed and in hand, including tuckboxes, tuckbox stickers, coins, bookmarks, and pins.
2. Still waiting on the cards themselves. We had some delays with back and forth adjustments on the card artwork. Since the art on this deck is extremely detailed and complex, I’ve needed to review and edit many small details. It’s finalized now and in print queue. I will update as I have any additional information on timeline.
3. The collector set boxes are still the biggest delay. I’m in process with a different manufacturer to test the updated box structure/sizing of insert. There was some delay due to tariffs as well but I think we’ve resolved that issue at this point.

Thank you again for your continued patience and I assure you that this project will be stunning once you receive it and can appreciate the final results.

Hello backers,

The Backerkit survey setup is complete and you should expect to receive an invite to complete your survey within the next week — keep an eye out for an email from Backerkit. From there you'll be able to confirm your shipping address and add any extra addon items you might like to include with your order.

Otherwise we're waiting on production for the decks and I'm working on the collector's set outer box — the manufacturer that produced the prototype seen in the photos/video has been unresponsive lately so while I'm still hoping to proceed with them, I'm also looking into alternative options to get that box made. I'll post any updates once I have more information.
